What we offer our customers
Data Backup
While its ultimately our customer's responsibility to keep their data safe, we go above and beyond to assist. We have local daily backups, with the ability to retrieve lost files up to 1 week. Beyond that, we keep a full previous week's worth of backup data off-site at our test/development location, just in case.
Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery
With so much time spent in the corporate enterprise world, rest assured we're keenly aware of the need for a DR plan. Our offsite test/development site is also configured to act as a DR site. Should there be a catastrophic failure of our primary location, we are able to quickly resume business with a minimal amount of distruption to your business.
ITIL Compliance
Again, what we've learned in the corporate world is directly translated to the web hosting world. What does ITIL mean to you? No patches/changes are deployed to our production environment without first being deployed to our test/development site for proper testing. Also, customer notification is an active component of our Change Management process - you'll know every time we make a system change. Please see either the news section of this site, or the message section of your control panel, for all change notifications.

History of The OESM Group
How we got here
Beginning in late 1999 as a hobby, hosting two game servers for the ever-popular game Half-Life, the company was formed as a way to fill a then-neglected market. That market was high-end game server hosting, for those who's dorm room connection or home cable modem simply wasn't good enough. On our first day of official operation in early 2002, we accumulated a waiting list equal to approximately 5-6 times our initial capacity. How? Word of mouth - people had already come to know our servers as second to none and incredibly reliable. This has been a tenet of continued operations, and subsequent success. Offer the best possible service at the best possible price.
